Note from the Founder
After seeing the grace of God and experiencing freedom in my walk with Jesus, I want other women to walk in freedom. I want them to know what real community and real relationships are about and why it’s important to be authentic. I want them to understand the depth of the love of Jesus for them and to live in freedom because of that understanding. I want them to be equipped with knowledge about their mind, emotions, and bodies and how it all works together to allow them to do what God designed for them to do. I want those women to then help the next generation to find the same freedom. I want to encourage them to be renewed in all these things regularly so that they don’t lose hope and give up. I believe that as women we have great influence over our families and our communities, and when we are living free we can show others what that freedom looks like. I want to get back to the simple truth of faith, God's Spirit guiding us, living out what He put in us to live, showing that to others. We are all just broken people walking each other home. The Lord is gracious to show us areas of struggle. Gathering alongside other authentic sisters in Christ we are walking toward home together while encouraging, challenging, and spurring each other on. Won’t you join us? We heal and grow as we gather, share, and learn from Jesus. We are renewed as we come together.

The Story Behind the Broom Tree…
We chose our logo for ReNew 3:10 after reading the story about Elijah from 1 Kings 19. Elijah was weary from fleeing for his life and came to the Lord and said he had had enough. The Lord didn’t give him next steps or a sermon but instead met his physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. He let him lie down under a broom tree in the desert. The broom tree provides shade and shelter. Under that tree, the Lord ministered to Elijah with food and rest and then asked him to lie down again to prepare for his next steps. After he was renewed then the Lord spoke to him in a gentle whisper that Elijah was now ready to hear. Allow ReNew 3:10 to be part of your broom tree story.
“Elijah was afraid and fled for his life. He went to Beersheba, a town in Judah, and he left his servant there. Then he went on alone into the wilderness, traveling all day. He sat down under a solitary broom tree and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life, for I am no better than my ancestors who have already died.” Then he lay down and slept under the broom tree. But as he was sleeping, an angel touched him and told him, “Get up and eat!” He looked around and there beside his head was some bread baked on hot stones and a jar of water! So he ate and drank and lay down again. Then the angel of the Lord came again and touched him and said, “Get up and eat some more, or the journey ahead will be too much for you.” So he got up and ate and drank, and the food gave him enough strength to travel forty days and forty nights to Mount Sinai, the mountain of God. And after the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper.” —1 Kings 19:3-8, 12 NLT
